Day 2 - Dryden to Nipigon - June 19, 2013

Robert rode in morning with guys from Quebec.   Trails were like Falcon trails/ Ingolf.  Good riding. Could have been better marked though. (Mathieu and Augustin are on their way to Canmore and Fernie to ride!)

Augustin et Mathieu

I took shower, cleaned,  then read. So glad to have lawn chair lounger. Reading Marriage Bureau for Rich People  -good book.  Had lunch when he came back - packed up and left shortly after 1:00.  26 degrees and sunny.

Ps: Got call from Robert's mom.  Oncle Rene's aorta burst and he is off oxygen now. Family called in-  just a matter of time now... Glad we got to see him.

Did a bit of Safeway shopping for water and salad ingredients in Thunder Bay, then drove to Nipigon.
We were arriving late so decided to do Sleeping Giant park on way back instead.

Ontario wisdom shared...

Arrived around 8:30 in big rain.  Stayed at Stillwater campground with full hook ups.  Nice treat.
As we were setting up, got a call from cousin Chris saying oncle Rene had passed away around 1:00 in afternoon.  Rene  spoke about our visit in the morning. Chris was really touched we had stopped by and felt it helped his dad transition, maybe knowing his sister Jeannine was thinking of him etc...

Had salad,  played cards and read then off to bed.

Suzie won!
