Low tide on a river fed by Bay of Fundy,
land of the highest recorded tides. Click here
for a 29 sec video of a tide coming in at Halls Harbour
(where we were with Andrée and René two days ago).
We left the province of Nova Scotia behind for a while… time to start our journey back westward! We'll be back! We entered New Brunswick, heading west towards Fundy National Park for a two night stay. We had heard that there was a fair amount of mountain biking and hiking in this park, so had wanted to make more than just an overnight stop there.
We got to Fundy at approximately 7:30 PM, got a nice wooded campsite in the National Park and almost settled down for the night.
In Alma, just entering Fundy National Park

Robert had a craving for a lobster roll and since we were in the land of lobster (and not for much longer), he took off in the truck for nearby Alma (five minutes from the campground). The search was on for a restaurant that would be available for lobster roll take-out at 8:45 PM.
One of my stops... open sign on, but darn! Closed!
This place is very well know for great lobster!
Found a little take-out place... still open!
Best lobster roll ever! Loaded!
