Day 34 - Maine/Quebec Border to M.C. & Patti's Cottage - Sun, July 21

Our beautiful campground!

View from the trailer in the morning...

Surrounded by towering red pines!

Coffee with yet another great view...

From the campsite...

From the campsite...

"Disconnected our campsite umbilical cords" (electrical and water hookups) and moved our truck and trailer to the campsite's picnic area. We took our bikes and went for a ride down some ski/ATV trails. Lovely area and easy ride.

Suzie on one of the trails near our campsite...

Taking a break on our ride...

Awesome clouds!

Crossed into Québec at Woburn. We made our way to Michel Claude and Patti's chalet in Bolton Est. (On est dans les cantons de l'est!) We are in the eastern townships of Québec. We followed le Chemin des Sommets another scenic road crossing through many small towns.

A "metro station" at a rest stop in the middle of nowhere on the small roads in Québec...
we were wondering what this was all about! Someone told us that it was a piece of art...
these "stations"are placed randomly throughout rural Québec as an art exhibit!

MC and Patti are currently in Greece with Danielle and her family but generously invited us to stay at their property. We didn't stay in the chalet as we are perfectly set up in our camper, but took advantage of their yard, porches, sunroom and internet. Can't thank you enough!

This is paradise! They have a stunning very private 9 acre property, perfectly landscaped, and beautiful chalet/home, overlooking a stream. Feels like a very romantic resort!

Trailer parked at M. C. & Patti's cottage paradise!

Tree frog on their deck...

The pond on their property...

We hooked up to water and electricity and then had our glass of wine on their little terrace overlooking the stream.

Relaxing on one of their several sitting areas on their property!

We then took a walk down their long winding lane and checked out the sand/gravel pits next door. Saw the full moon rise - just beautiful!

Late evening walk... full moon out... beautiful!
