Day 32 - Fundy National Park - Fri, July 19

We woke up to a rainy day here in Fundy National Park. Nothing too heavy… mostly a steady drizzle, with occasional bursts of heavier rain. We heard from Robert's sister Lise and her husband Jeeps that they were going to come and join us for the afternoon. That's a two hour drive for them from their home in Cocagne!

Robert went for a mountain bike ride before they arrived. It was raining slightly, but the forest he was in was quite dense, so not really a problem!

The easy part of the trail...

The brook that I rode to...

The brook from the other direction...

 Beautiful rocks!

More beautiful rocks... how many can I fit in my camelback?

The power of nature once again!

 And again...

The sign said "No road bikes"
Does that mean me too?

Great to see Lise and Jeeps again! They brought us some sticky buns from a local bakery in Alma, near our campground. They also brought us some snow peas ("Mangetout" in Acadien) fresh from their garden!  All of us except Jeeps left for a mountain bike ride on some trails nearby. Light drizzle… enjoyable ride! Jeeps didn't have his bike, so he went for a walk with their dog Klaus instead.

Where the awesome cinnamon buns came from!

We got back to the trailer. Lise and Jeeps and their dog Klaus left for home. Quick shower and off to Alma five minutes away for yet one more seafood restaurant, "The Tides" that we had heard great reviews about! Great meal!

Robert drove me back to the trailer and he came back to the Tides Restaurant to publish the posts and photos for yesterday and today!

 In Alma...

 Fishing in Alma...

 In Alma...

Tomorrow, we are looking for an early start and on the road. Robert bought a lobster roll from the take-out place and is keeping it in the fridge overnight for a lunch time treat tomorrow!!
